How points are allocated in 2005:
Championship races (Marathon, Cross Country, Mountain, Half Marathon) score 150 points for 1st place, 149 for 2nd, 148 for 3rd etc down to a minimum of 20 points for every finisher.

CCC Pointscore races (e.g. Dunrossil Drive) score 100 points for 1st place, 99 for 2nd, 98 for 3rd etc down to a minimum of 10 points for every finisher.

CCC Non-pointscore races (e.g. Regatta Point) score 70 points for 1st place, 69 for 2nd, 68 for 3rd etc down to a minimum of 10 points for every finisher.

The final result is based on the runner's best 12 races throughout the season.
